Filipe Luis appointed head coach of AS Monaco until 2028

Filipe Luis has been confirmed as the new head coach of AS Monaco on a contract running until 2028. He holds only a CONMEBOL coaching licence, not a UEFA Pro Licence, and Monaco will be prepared to pay a fine of up to €25,000 per match unless a special exemption is granted. After three years as a head coach, his CONMEBOL licence would be automatically recognised as a UEFA Pro Licence.
